In this project I'm reflecting on the intertwined paths of these three artists who shaped the reality of their time and for the decades to come.
Drawing parallels between the co-creative nature of generative AI and the melting pot of 70's and 80's art scene, I'm prompting AI to create the portrait(s) mixing the personalities of David Bowie, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. This page presents some of the sketches in progress.
In the final stage of the project, the selected images will be implemented in the mosaics technique by hand as 3 mosaics panels. Mosaics is chosen to represent the nature of generative AI: putting together different pieces to create something new.
